Lee, Z, and Sasha departed yesterday in the mid-afternoon for the great west. They stopped in South Bend, IN close to midnight. They made short work of getting their bikes off the rack and into the hotel for safe keeping before enjoying a good night's sleep. Zhenya and Sasha are learning to read the atlas and are good at following road signs. Today they woke up early and are heading for Grand Forks, ND. Lee plans to teach them the "Alphabet Game" as they drive around Chicago! They will spend tonight and tomorrow with our friends, the Harmesons, and see some of our favorite spots from when we lived in Grand Forks. Lee plans to take them to Grand Forks AFB to show them the KC-135 air refuelers that he used to fly. BTW - it snowed in Montana yesterday!!
