Day 4 Chico Hot Springs

Imagine soaking in soothing, natural hot springs filled pools after several days of steady riding.... Zhenya, Sasha, and Lee have done just that, twice already today with plans to soak once more before the pools close tonight! Today was a relatively short day, with overcast skies and strong headwinds. Pastor Steve told Lee on Day 2 at King's Hill that hoping for no headwind is like moving to the other side of the campfire to try to avoid the smoke. I believe that means that headwinds will be mentioned time and again on this blog. :) The rain held off until they arrived at Chico Hot Springs Resort. Chico is a rustic old resort with western style architecture and furnishings. The boys think it is pretty cool. All three of them feel well after a short day's ride. Tomorrow they are off to Gardiner, MT, the last stop before entering Yellowstone National Park from the north.

DAILY STATS:
26 Miles from Livingston, MT to Chico Hot Springs, MT
10:00 am to 1:00 pm, 65 degrees and overcast
Total elevation gain of 300 feet
176 total miles to date

Thank you for your prayers for the 3 guys as they continue on their great adventure exploring God's creation. We continue to pray for safe road conditions, favorable weather, and great fellowship.
